As ever a real pleasure to hear the sublime piano playing of Soraya, a @livuni graduate performing solo an all-female composed programme of music – from C. Schumann, Jaëll, Chamiande, Beach, Nikolayeva at the Tung Auditorium the other week.
The programme, all the research, the entire vision has been a dream of mine for months (years even) and there was no better place to perform than in the space I started my journey of exploring forgotten works by women. It was a real honour to perform something so personal and so special to me, in a place which holds many memories of growth. I felt so much enjoyment on stage, something that doesn’t come often,a feeling quite magical
