A fantastic night last night of new writing at the Unity brought by Sober Scribbles!
Formed by Helen Jeffery in 2024, Sober Scribbles is a safe and supportive community for sober and sober-curious writers to come together in Liverpool and be able to create and share work in alcohol free spaces.
Since the first in-person workshops, several online playwriting courses have run under the banner of ‘Sober Scribbles’ – The show presented extracts of work from the emerging playwrights who have attended these:

- Tales of an Able-Bodied Seaman – Hannah Eynon
- Lucian Freud we’re coming at ya – Janet Griffiths
