Preference or conquest is written by Vicki Duncan, who is a gay woman originally from Edinburgh; who seems to be magnetically drawn to heterosexual women and them to her.
This short piece is set in the bright lights of Manchester’s bustling Canal Street where you can be free to be yourself.
It explores sexuality and whether a once straight woman can completely change because she ultimately falls for the person. Is sexuality fluid? Or is it a case of ‘bi now, gay later’.
