When a friend of mine says fancy coming to see a singer you’ve not hear before my usual response is sure let me get my camera!
This time it was to see Simon Cousins who was playing in St Helens Victoria Park. He hails from Bath originally and we were treated to a repertoire of folk songs and other old favourites. He used to be a member of Liverpool indie country rock band The Onset and folk rockers Ophiuchus.
So big thanks to Gill for the invite and for bringing along Twiggy and Woody, who were so well behaved.. Mrs B and I were also joined by Richie, Carol and Robert.
