Well it felt like it anyway.. So hot but a great time chosen to visit a new camping part of the county for us. We stayed in the handily located Pinecones Caravan and Camping site in Dersignham. Mainly a caravan aimed site but they did have a separate field for tenting. The ground was baked but we pitched up OK and set about exploring the region.
We discovered our neighbour was the King’s estate, Sandringham.. Who knew it was there!! For us northerners anything that sounds southern means southern. So we visited there on our last day to make the most of the shade of the forests and got to see the house as well as the gardens.
We also took in the coast from Well next the sea (yes that’s what it’s called!!), Brancaster and Hunstanton. and visited Kings Lynn and Castle Rising on other days.
