In conversation – Caroline Gorick

Part of my work for Liverpool Noise is to make unique fresh portraits of the artists highlighted on their online magazine.

The gamut of the cultures and skills involved in the various articles is broad thus the approach needed and locations used vary each time, which helps me gain experience and knowledge.

Here is the final article is you fancy a read

Today’s artist was Caroline Gorick, who creates “oil paintings that explore light, stillness, and the fragile presence of everyday things”. We had a ball photographing in the wonderful space that is St Georges hall so a big thanks to Dave and Joe who made this possible for us to do this. Meeting Caroline was a real pleasure and a joy to photograph, a natural in front of the camera and she made the whole shoot feel effortless so big thank you!!

It was great to have the opportunity to spend some time with Caroline so thanks as always to Steve and Clare .

Hopefully the photos below will show what a great location this was for these portraits and that I’ve been able to capture a little of Caroline’s personality along the way.
