Liverpool Anglican Cathedral – Grass n Glass

Since we photographed the Catholic Cathedral we thought it only right to do the same with the Anglican Cathedral. We had a stunning day again so lots of sunshine to work with. Amazing to think that the building was actually only completed in 1978 taking 74 years to build. The place is huge and unlike the Catholic Cathedral visit we went inside too and was pleasantly surprised that it was so warm in there, wasn’t always like that.. I took a monopod which was a great help in steadying some of the shots I took with my 70-200mm and nicked Mrs B’s 10-24MM for some of them too.. the joys of sharing lenses. We marvelled at the stunning stained glass windows which are the largest in the UK. Outside, St James gardens were awash with wild garlic so pleased I took my 105 Macro with me now!
