The culture vultures headed off to Italy this time round and we stayed in the medieval city of Bologna, the “Fat One”, home to the oldest university in Europe.
Getting there was a breeze courtesy of Ryanair and a dedicated monorail from the airport right into the heart of the city. We stayed right near the old town not far from the main Piazza Maggiore.
In summary we walked the streets for days in the cloudless sky (we were so lucky) taking pictures, meeting up with Mick and members of The Cut, who showed us the best bars and cuisine. The food was simply amazing.. Oh and we did get to a gallery in case you were wondering, hey it was a cultural trip after all.
Here are just a few of the zillions of photos I took whilst there. As it happened the other culture vultures that came along this time were also photographers so if we didn’t get a shot of it.. Hope you like them and that they do justice to the wonderful city it it.
