It had been on the “to visit” list for many years so this year we decided to bring it to the top of the list and go and visit Brugge. We found out that there are many versions of the name and even the locals can call it several things. Dutch, French and English were the languages in play generally.
We travelled to Charleroi Airport, hopped on a bus to Luttre, then a couple of trains via Brussels so not the easiest place to get to but well worth the journey..
