Thanks to One Fell Swoop; A delight to be able to photograph this concert which was as part of Milap‘s 40th Anniversary celebrations, marking four decades of dedication to promoting and sharing the rich diversity of Indian arts and culture.
This unique performance by Rekesh Chauhan and Kousic Sen was also part of one of the Liverpool international jazz festival
Rekesh Chauhan, a multi-award-winning British pianist and composer, is celebrated for his versatility in both Indian and Western classical traditions. He was joined by Kousic Sen an internationally renowned tabla maestro and Milap’s artist in residence, whom I have heard play many times now and I’m still in awe.
Together they explored the dynamic intersection of Indian classical music and jazz, blending tradition with contemporary innovation resulting in a fresh, exciting musical experience. Loved it!!
