Always an adventure to try out a new campsite and this time round we’d been invited along by Yami & Rupesh to their annual family camp. Vijay, the veteran camper, brought along a 20 year old malt too so it was always going to be a winner. There was around 20 of us in the group so top fun and we had a shared meal on the Friday night and a lot of sausages Saturday for breakfast along with the campsites fresh hens eggs!
Speaking of winning we took on the locals at Bingo, in the nearby pub, Glyntwrog and came out of top. Lisa and I won a line and a full house.. first time bingo luck me thinks..
The site we stayed at was Llyns Derwen, Llanrug not far from Llanberis. So a big shout out to Heledd & Nathan for looking after us on site, Nathan giving us a top walk route for our visit to Llanberis . Here is a fuller review of site on TripAdvisor.
