Brill night out at Future Yard where we met up with Joe and Rupesh, who had suggested this gig.
What a great party which kicked off with the Medicine Men on the decks and then habibi music maker, Ziyad Al-Samman with his African punk disco that got us all fired up for…
Ibibio Sound Machine – “One of the most compelling and forward-thinking bands emerging from the UK scene – a genre-defying afro-futurist collective blending West African rhythms, electronic textures, disco, post-punk”
Which says a lot and was a lot! A rather funky evening!
