Last time I was in Lisbon was for my birthday with Lisa, only because a trip to Edinburgh was a fortune both to stay there and to travel up there.. Apparently I was buying a train not just riding in it so..
This time it was a choice of a friend who in the end didn’t come with us but I wasn’t complaining as, anyone who has been to Lisbon will know, it’s hardly a chore to explore. This time round we went Monday to Friday so plenty of time to get to explore the old town, the castle, Belem and the several fabulous bars and restaurants. Big thanks to Keith and Richie my travel companions for suffering my enthusiasm for steps!
