As the weather was naff the planned trip for a camp in the Lake District became a wonderfully warm hotel stay in Derbyshire. We really enjoyed the local pubs and restaurants as well as a walk along the craggy Roaches, not far from Leek, reaching the dizzy height of Hen Cloud. We’d never been before and were delighted to come across the spooki Lud’s church at Roaches end. Here are the photos..
