Despite the fact it was one of the busiest times of the year, we set off to visit Jodrell Bank, mainly to take some photos whilst the sun was out. We thought we’d get some good shots and hopefully you’ll enjoy what we took.. the queue to get in was well worth it.. Lisa took a very interesting 45 minute tour around the base of the structure with a PHD student. As well as the history of the telescope plans for its future use in a linked grid system was explained. Nice to know that going forward the telescope can uncover more information about the universe!
