We have visited Pembrokeshire many times but this was our first time at Newgale campsite. Great hosts Mike and his wife and staff Stu and the painter which made our stay that extra special. Staying right next to the road may see not the most ideal location until you realise what’s on the other side of the road… Surf and lots of it! Not that I actually did the standing up thing, more of a hang on and see what happens kind of thing. Both Bruce and Luke in the New Surf surfing shack were really helpful. Great fun was had and the weather despite being right at the end of September was glorious so much so we even stayed an extra day, getting treated to some wonderful sunsets each evening. And we just had to have a curry in the Saffron of course!
