Now owned by the Forestry Commission, Sutton Manor is an area of recreational space on the site of the old Sutton Heath Colliery (some wonders can be seen on this site). a place which used to employ 1600 and dig out 300,000 tonnes of Coal per year, is now a great space to get some fresh air… Also located there is the Dream is a 2009 sculpture and a piece of public art by Jaume Plensa.
