With record temperatures, we headed to the coast and joined the crowds of folk flocking to the beach and the pinewoods of Formby, Merseyside. Being British and considering the usual breeze that accompanies any visit to the local coast, (and of course considering it was February) I took a coat however but knew instantly I got out of the car it was a huge mistake. It didn’t take long clambering over sand dunes to get sweat up. Still we had a great day and got us enthused for a return trip hopefully very soon.
