A mixed bag weather wise.. the first day was dry so the tent got up no problem and we headed into Keswick for a mooch around. That night and for the next day and night it bucketed down so a great excuse to stay in the tent and chill and catch up on a good book.. the Saturday was really dry and sunny so managed to get out onto the hills and took a trip up Latrigg and came back via Brundholme Woods as there was still some work going on on as a result of the flooding in 2015 and Rawsome Bridge was still closed.
We were disappointed with a few visits to some of the local pubs, namely the George and the Weatherspoons (click for their reviews) but the the Bank tavern and of course the Blundell’s outdoor restaurant were great as usual. We took in a film, Yesterday, at the charming Alhambra cinema and had a big sausage at the always tasty Old Keswickian. Here are a few snaps of our trip
